It js observed that bromine bubbles are produced via a planar state by irradia-tion with 75 keV electrons at the confined temperatures around l00'C, whenbeam intensities are very low (0.5 mA/cm'). However, the planar precursors ofbubbles are not observed often as in KCI because of another dominant processof bubble formation. Many bubbles are formed insicle interstitial-type dislocalion loops beforehand produced. These btubbles have no observable precursor.
