The hot nonradiative transitions in strongly coupled electron-phonon systemis studied by a three level, constant transfer model under white pulse excitationcondition. It is shown, both analytically and numerically, that the transitionrate as the phonon wave packet passes through the crossing point of the adiabaticpotential energy curves is given by the Landau-Zener formula in the limit ofstrong electron-phonon coupling except the case that the crossing point coincideswith the stationary point of the motion of the wave packet.
