The α-7Li and α-12C Elastic Scattering at Eα=5 and 6 MeV

The differential cross sections of a-'Li and cx-"C elastic scattering have beenmeasured at energies E.= 5 and 6 MeV. The results are interpreted by using realphase-shift analysis. It has shown that the real phase-shifts interpreted the r:x-"Cscattering data very well at the energies investigated. The a-'Li scattering dataare also fitted quite good by the real phase-shifts. The states at E.=0.4776 MeVin 'Li and at E.=4.439 MeV in "C play little role in this experiment. For scat-taring angles 0....>150', the results are found to show very prominent gloryscattering and fit to the glory model very well.
