The effects of spatial fluctuations of impurity potentials on the magneticinteraction between a pair of donors are investigated in a system of two electronsinteracting with a short-range repulsive force in the conduction band of a semi-conductor containing two donor-type impurities. The potential welts due tothese impurities are assumed to be deep enough to have one and only one boundstate. The potential fluctuations are found to assist the magnetization of theground state of the impurity pair, for which the interaction is repulsive.
