• The gamma rays accompanying the decay of 8s "'Ir were studied with a Gesr>ectrometer. Transitions with enersies (intensities) of 407.4i0.3 (1001-7) and507.0f0.3 (76410) keV have been confirmed. Additional transitions in "'Pthave been sought up to energies of 2700 keV ; none has been observed. An upperlimit of 15% is placed on the intensity of any new transition in "'Pt with anenergy above 700 keV.RADIOACTIVITY "'Ir (from "'Pt(n, p)); uneasured E., I.; deduced[]decay scheme. Enriched target, Ge detector.
