The effects of iunpurity pirataing on a Peierls trautsition in N chains system isinvestigated by using the phase hantiltonian. Each impurity is assumed to act ozalyon a chain. The correlation function of the charge deuasity in a siutgle chaita systemis calculated for the dilute limit. The transitiout tennperature is estimated. fromthe correlation function itacluding interchain coup1i?ag by meat?s of a high-temperature expansiout. The dc conductivity above the tratasition tenaperature iscalculated to the lowest order with respect to the iaaapurity poteratial. From thisresult, the temperature atad the sanc.p]e depe?adeztces of the conductivity above thetransition temperature observed in TTF-TCNQ are well explained.
