A Detailed Study of Low-Lying Levels in ^<79>Kr by the ^<79>Br (p,nγ)^<79>Kr Reaction

Excitation functions of 7-rays from the "Br(p, n) "Kr reaction were measuredwith 2.82- to 3.50-MeV protons, and neutron-7 and y-y coincidence spe:ctra wererecorded at 5.00 MeV. Angular distributions of some y rays were also measuredwith 3.50-MeV protons to determine spins and parities. A level scheme of "Krwas proposed from detailed analyses of the data. In particular, a j>reviouslyunknown 5/2" level was identified at 290keV, and the presence of a !)/2" levelat 149 keV was confirmed.NUCLEAR REACTIONS "Br(p, n7), E=2.S2 -3.50 MeV; measured E,I, n7-, 77-coin, o(E; E,), o(E, 0). "Kr deduced levels, J, n, y-branching,7-multipolarities. Enriches target.l
