We have calculated the spin relaxation time of positive muon diffusing bymeans of tunneling processes among self-trapped states. It is shown that, becauseof the nearly antiferromagnetic structure, Chromium is very advantageous corn-pared with the case of ferromagnetic Iron to stt?dy not only intrinsic diffusionproperties but also effect of defect on the muon motion. Temperature dependenceof the relaxation time observed by Kossler et al. is well understood in terms of thenarrowing by the under-barrier hopping and the coherent motion. This corn-parison indicates that muon diffusiot? parameters are similar in Chromium andIron.
