Investigation is made on how ion mobility in fluid is inl'luenced by the long-wavelength fluctuations of fluid. It is shown that the effect ol' the long-wavelengthfluctuations on the mobility depends upon the ion mass ; the motion of ionswith mass lighter than a certain characteristic valt?e is not inlluenced by the decayof the long-wavelength fluctuations, but that of heavier tons is influenced by it.This effect, however, is smaller than ?nfluence of the small-wavelength fltzctuationson the mobility, except in the case of electrons and positrc>ns. Near the criticalpoint, the effect of the critical fluctuations on the mo bility is considered, includingthe effect of the decay of the critical fluctuations.
