Velocity of ultrasound waves in a mixed gas of helium and argon have beenmeasured at 25'C tmder high pressure up to 20 KB, and in mixture of heliumand xenon up to 5 KB. In the latter case, separation of the gas phase has beenobserved, but not in the former case. Pressure of the phase separation measuredfrom sound velocity are in very good agreement with the previous data obtainedfrom visual observation. Reaction rate of phase separation of the mixed gas isalso discussed.
