• Discrete variational Xx calcttlations arc performed for MAN, (M = U, Np and Pu)cluster. The results show that the narrow M 5f and Al 3p bands arc located nearEp and are superimposed ttport the M 6d and broa.d 7s, 7p bttnds. It is found thatthe interactions between M 6d and Al 3p are significant hut covalency of theseclusters.
