K Band in KCl: Na and KCl: Li Crystals

K band of F. center is studied theoretically applying a perturbation method.Within the semicontinuum theory, the wave functions and their correspondingenersies for KCI F center are calculated usinu the Simrson and Krumhansl-Schwartz method. We obtain analytic expressions for the potentials of Li" andNa" tons. Applying an artifice, the perturbation was taken as the difference ofpotential of the impurity ton and the K" ion potential, while the problem HyEy for F center was solved within the semicontinuum theory. Also the calculationsfor the transitions between the IS and 2P states were made using the Simpsonand Krumhansl functions and also the ones of Gourary-Adrian type I. Wesuggest an experiment to be made.
