Effects of the particle specific heat on shock wave structures in dusty gases arenumerically investigated by the moment method for the Boltzmann equation. It isshown that for the small specific heat the particle temperature overshoots the Rankine-Ilugoniot equilibrium value, provided a shock wave is strong, and that for the largespecific heat the particle temperature increases monotonically and the gas temperatureovershoots. Also it is shown that the frozen region disappears with the increasingspecific heat, and the dispersed shock wave is formed.
