The lifetime of the 6^+ state in ^<92>Mo was measured by means of the gamma-gamma delayed coincidence method. The 330 keV (6^+&roar;4^+) gamma-ray from the 2613 keV level in ^<92>Mo has been found to decay with a half-life T_<1/2>=1.51±0.08 ns. An experimental value of B(E2: 6^+&roar;4^+) has been determined to be 76±2e^2 fm^4. Assuming four-particle configurations of g_<9/2> and p_<1/2> protons both for the 6^+ and 4^+ states a polarization charge for the g_<9/2> proton is deduced to be 0.61e.
