The forced convection flow of liquids past a heated flat plate with temperature-dependent viscosity and thermal conductivity is analysed. Velocity and temperature profiles as well as skin friction and heat transfer characteristics on the plate are obtained, by use Karman-Pohlhausen technique and the assumption that the viscous boundary layer is thicker than the thermal layer.
