Diagrammatical method is applied to a quantity which is related with the interfacefree energy, for the Ising model on the two-dimensional lattice under zero externalfield. We obtain a simple method of evaluating the interface free energy and thecritical temperature for the systems satisfying some ordinary symmetry properties. The present result justifies the method proposed by Miiller-I-Iartmann and Zittartz in1977, for some of the cases for which the present method gives the exact interface freeenergy.
