The electronic structures of fcc and bcc phases of sputter-deposited Fe-Cu and FeAg alloy films have been studied using the tight-binding liuaear muffin-tin orbitalmethod in conjunction with 1.he coherent potential approxin?ation. A simple treat-rnent of the X-ray photoemission spectra based can the electronic density of states(DOS) and the atomic photoionization cross-sections of alloy constituents, ispresented.
