The behavior of a cellular automaton model for an ecosystem (K. Satoh: J. Phys.Soc. Jpn. 58 (1989) 3842) is reinvestigated on the hexagonal lattice. It is found that avariety of single and multiarmed spiral patterns are self-organized.
