We investigate the effect of a uniform magnetic field on the electronic states of thetwo-dimensional Penrose lattice with the use of periodic Penrose lattices. All statescontribute to form the first Landau band in an appropriately strong magnetic field,but the states in the higher energy region do not form the higher Landau levels.
