Effect of Hall current on the unsteady free convection flow o f a viscous incompressi-ble and electrically conducting fluid, in presence of foreign gases (such as H., CO.,H.0, NH,), along an infinite vertical porous flat plate subjected to a transpiration ve-Iocity inversely proportional to the square-root of time is investigated in the presenceof a uniform transverse magnetic field. The results are discussed with the effects of theparameters Gc (the Grashof number for mass transfer), m (the Hall parameter) andSc (the Schmidt number) for Pr=0.71, which represents air.
