We propose a soft quantum lattice model for liquid and solid 'He at 0 K.Our model is capable of representing a compressible solid. Transfer matrixelements to cause 0.D.L.R.0 and effective repulsive interaction between atomsare assumed to der>end on the lattice r>arameter a with two model parameters pand q as exponents of the "a" dependence of transfer tnatrix elements and effec-tive repulsive interaction, respectively. We find that they are restricted to 0< p< 3,4.2<q<5 in order to account for the super fluid-normal solid plaase change byour model. We examine the possibility of the coexistence of 0.D.L.R.0 andD.L.R.0 (supersojid phase). We find that by our model the supersolid phase ispossible when q<4.2, p=2.
