The temperature dependence of spin cluster resonance signals can be used to calculate the dominant exchange interaction in chainlike structures. It is shown that impurities in the sample can result in a drastic change of the calculeted value of the exchange. The results are applied to the case of CsCoCl_3・2H_2O.
