The observation of muons in EAS relevant to the age parameter which has been determined from a lateral density distribution of electrons has been carried out by means of a neon hodoscope array at Mt.Norikura (2770m.a.s.l.). As a result, it was found that there is a strong correlation between lateral distributions of electrons and of muons. The lateral distribution of muons as a power function of the distance r from the core axis has the exponent which varies from -0.8 to -1.7 with the change of age parameter of EAS. The empirical distribution function of muons with various age parameter can be expressed as; Δμ(r, N_e, s)=f(s)r^<-g(s)>e^<-(r/250)>(N_e/10^6)^<0.8> where f(s)=3×10^4 exp(-7.26s) and g(s)=8.0 exp(-2.0). Another conclusion is that the cause of the existence of multicore EAS will not be due to the heavy nuclei in the primary cosmic rays but due to a high energy interaction character.
