Temperature and Pressure Dependence of Molecular Sound Velocity and Compressibility in Liquid Methane

Calculations have been made of the molecular sound velocity R and molecular compressibility B in liquid methane in the temperature range 91°-191°K, and pressures up to 150 kg/cm^2. It was observed that R and B are pressure independent but, however, show an increase with the temperature.
