Magnetic Susceptibilities of 3d-transition metals in liquid tin are measured. Alloys of Sn-Mn are magnetic and obey the Curie law, while the other alloys such as Sn-Ni, Tn-Co, Sn-Fe, Sn-Ti and Sn-V are non-magnetic. These data are discussed using the Friedel-Anderson scheme.
