A Negative V" System and Its Equilibrium

A negative V" configuration is obtained by applying l=2 and l=3 helical multipolor fields on a toroidal magnetic field. An analytical and numerical analysis indicates that the negative V" condition can be achieved in a wide region in this way. The plasma pressure effect on the configuration is also considered.
