A theory for resonant inelastic X-ray scatterings induced by very strong visible lights in an insulating solid is formulated by using a perturbation method for electron-photon interaction. This theory describes a series of succesive processes ; an X-ray absorption from a core state to a wide conduction band, two emissions of a visible photon induced by the laser lights within the conduction band, and a returning X-ray emission back to the core state. The scattering is shown to be enhanced greatly by the core exciton effect. This enhancement results in two peaks in the scattering spectrum, and they correspond to the resonances to this exciton level at the initial state and at the final state of the excited electron. These new results are discussed in connection with the recent experiments on the 2p-5d transition of gadolinium ion in gadolinium gallium garnet (Gd_3Ga_5O_<12>).
