This paper examines the effect of permeability on boundary layer flow over an infinite permeable bed rotating in a mass of still fluid occupying the upper half space. The slip boundar condition proposed by Beavers and Joseph^<1)> is employed to analyse the dynamic coupling of boundary layer flow with the Darcy flow induced in the bed due to transfer of momentum by seepage into the porous medium, occupying the lower half space below the fluid. The effect of permeability and rotation on the components of slip velocity and shear stress in the radial and transverse directions is examined. Rotation and tangential slip are found to cause axial flow reversal in the boundary layer. Dependence of the location of point of flow reversal on rotation and permeability has been also studied.
