XVe propose a bosonic spherical uaaodel to investigate the phase transition and critical behavior'sof the qtrantum X Y ferrotnagnet, We calctrlate the low-tettaperattrre thernaodynarnics and criticalexponents near the phase transition, arnd cotnpare with the resttlts of' the conventional sphericalnaodel in the spin space. The possibilities of the existence of the ordered phase of the systenn atreexataained ['or d< 2 arud d : 3, respectively. The efl'ects of tlae exchange ?tnisotropy on the phasetransition temperattrre are also disctmssed.
