A correlation eqtratiota for the low-density viscosity collision integral of hydrogen naolectrles overa very large tetaaperatttre range is obtained. This eqtration has been inverted directly to give theredtrced interuaaolecular poter'atial energy ctrrve for Hz -Hz corresponding to the collision integral. The results are then trsed to obtain a best lVIorse-Spline-Van der Waals (R/ISV) potential raaodel.Conaparison is unade between the present interaction potential energy fttnction and two otherpreviously published H2 -H2 potential energy functions. The present potential ftrnction providesthe best overall agreement for the available low-density gas plaase therttuophysical data, i.e.second virial coefficient and transport properties, and can thtrs be recornmended for calctmlationof all properties that depend L1pOl1 tlue interrnolecttlar interaction.
