The infltrence of Stark shif't on the phase properties XX'l'l6I1 ;tn ideal cavity is filled with a Kerr-likettaeditrrn and cotrpling is effected throtrgh nondegenerate R11112111 two-photon processes is sttrdied.This has been carried otrt trsing the Herraaitian phase ['orrrralism of Pegg arad Barnett. We findtlaat the plaase properties of' the field reflect the collapses and revivals of the level occtrpationprobabilities in ztuost sutuations. Tlae interaction brings al.>otrt the sytaanaetrical splitting of' thephase probability distribution. A ntzmber of' interesting f'eattrres are found and discussed.
