The impurity density exapansion of electrical conductivity σ due to impurity scattering is considered quantum-mechanically. It is assumed that the impurities are uniformly distributed and interact with electrons through short-range repulsive forces, which are not necessarily weak. There are divergent terms in the density expansion, on which a similar analysis is made as Kawasaki and Oppenheim did. In the two-dimensional case it is shown that the first impurity density correction to σ is logarithmically dependent on impurity density.
