• The flow past a wedge which is placed parallel to the undisturbed uniform flow and accompanied with a symmetric dead-air region is investigated by using the hodograph method. Especially, in case when the speed of flow at infinitry is sonic, the relation between the modified drag coefficient of the wedge and its semi-nose angle is sbown graphically.
