Using circular cylindrical samples, we have shown in previous reports, that the minimum of current I_0 required for the appearance of the paramagnetic effect is composed of two terms I_0 and γdH_0 and that I_g is independent of the sample size. In this paper, using the several kinds of non-circular cylindrical samples (rectangular, semi-circular, triangular, hollow circular, and three other forms which may show no paramagnetic effect), we have studied the same effect. In the former four samples, the value of I_g has proved to be the same as in the case of circular cylinders. In the latter three samples (sand-wich-type, cylinder and hollow cylinder with a longitudinal wedge-shaped slot) no paramagnetic effect has been found.
