A reformulation of the Dirac theory of electron, which is another representation of Gursey's wave matrix formalism, is given. By using this formalism, the isomorphisms of various transformations of a spinor are explicitly proved. In Part I, the reformulation is developed on its own. This formalism is the reformulation of the Dirac theory corresponding to Case's reformulation of the Majorana theory. An elegant means of describing the(V, A)Fermi interactions is given. In Part II, we derive the general theory of wave matrix without referring to the special representations. Gursey's wave matrix formalism is derived from the above formulation by the transformation of representation. The connection between Gursey's formalism and the Dirac theory is made clearer. In Part III, various transformations of a four-spinor are investigated, and the isomorphisms among some of them are proved. These transformations are not always canonical, and the conditions that they become canonical are searched for.
