The reaction of chromium under basic slag has been experimentally studied in laboratory furnace. In the basic slag (CaO/SiO_2>2), it was found that the oxide of chromium presents as chromic-oxide, so the reaction of chromium under basic slag should be expressed as follow : - 2[Cr]+3(FeO)⇆(Cr_2O_3)+3[Fe] The auther proposed as the temperature coefficient of the equilibrium constant K^B_<Cr>=(Cr_2O_3)/[Cr]^2(FeO)^3 of this reaction log K^B_<Cr>=15, 000/T-10.0
