• A bounded linear operator $ T $ on a Hilbert space is called a $ \theta $-operator if $ T^* $ T and $ T+T^* $ commute. It is shown that $ \theta $-operators are dominant. We shall give useful construction of $ \theta $-operators. Using this we get an example of $ \theta $-operator which is not paranormal.
