宮澤賢治の『春と修羅』(第一集)の作品分析をしながら,作者とその時代をもあわせ考察して行きたいと思う。今回の稿ではその集の,第一章「春と修羅」の冒頭に掲げられた「屈折率」を取り上げながら,それに先立って,第一集の成立事情,特にその根底となる＜心象スケッチ＞の内実や,作者の意図としてのその方法意識を,覚書風に述べようと思う。In this essay I have tried to analyse "Haru to Shura", or "Spring and Asura" (The First Series) by Kenji Miyazawa, which was published in April, the 13th year of Taisho. In the preface I considered his poetical method of 'Shinsho Sketch', or 'Sketching in his Mind', which he called 'Mental Sketch', and also related his life at that time. I made an attempt at an analysis of his "Kussetsu-ritsu", or "Refractive Index", in his first chapter "Haru to Shura".
