There are some partial differential equations describing physical systems which can be solved numerically by using technique of wave digital filters (WDF). This method is suitable for the time-dependent phenomena, since spatial and physical variables are calculated every sampling time. By employing power waves, the method is applied to a system of plasma equations which consists of a system of Maxwell's equations and that of Euler's equations. First, both systems of equations are transformed into equivalent Kirchhoff circuits by considering all physical quantities as currents. Next, connected Kirchhoff circuits are transformed into well-konwn WDF algorithm, leading to a solution of the plasma equations.
