On the basis of the current theory of nuclear structure, we have calculated the (t, p) and (p, t) reaction cross sections for medium weight nuclei with even Z and N. In the nuclear wave functions the pairing correlation is taken into account by using a BCS type function, and the quadrupole-quadrupole forces are also considered in the random phase approximation where the quadrupole vibratkonal states are concerned. The cross section is given in a form suitable for the DWBA calculation as was done in a previous paper. The zero-range approximation and harmonic oscillator wave function for all bound state wave functions are still adopted. The results obtained are compared with experiment for Cd^A(p,t)Cd^<A-2>, Sn^A(p,t)Sn^<A-2>, Cd^<110>(t,p)Cd^<112>, Zr^<96>(p,t)Zr^<94>, Fe^A(p,t)Fe^<A-2> and Ni^A(p,t)Ni^<A-2>. Good agreement is obtained for lower incident energies, while the agreement is not so good for higher incident energies.
