An interpretation is given of the double peak resonance absorption observed by Bickford in magnetite below its transition point -160℃. An anisotropy energy of tetragonal symmetry is assumed as in his case, and for weaker fields a magnetic structure of parallel flat domains is assumed. When the magnetization vectors on both sides of each wall oscillate in a certain manner, a surface magnetic charge will be produced on the wall, and this in turn will produce an oscillating magnetic field in each domain. The frequency of oscillation is thus increased.
