We discuss the power behaviour observed in particle production at large transverse momentum (P⊥) and in wide-angle elastic scattering from the viewpoint of the coherent state representation of multiple production. We show that the power-like fall-off of the inclusive p⊥-distribution is a natural consequence of our representation with the Ginzburg-Landau-type free energy functional. Furthermore, the power index is quantized to be an odd integer. The deep-region behaviour of shadow scattering is studied in detail. As a result, we find that the overlap function of the uncorrelated jet model behaves like 〜s^(-γ)H(θ) thanks to the power behaviour of the wave function. The power index γ is determined by the power index of the p⊥-distribution within uncertainty ±1/2.
