• The precision and CW characteristics of the new CEBAF electron accelerator will allow electromagnetic production of hypernuclear spectra with calculated resolutions between 200 and 300 keV. Experiments are planned to exploit this capability. The following paper reviews experimental considerations in the design of hypernuclear electroproduction, and provides estimates of expected rates and backgrounds. This hypernuclear program could begin in early 1996.
