New Formalism for Simple Relativistic Oscillator Model and Electromagnetic Interaction

The classical theory of simple relativistic oscillator model moving in electromagnetic field is given on the basis of a new singular Lagrangian. The theory is put also in a constrained Hamiltonian formalism. The theory exhibits that under arbitrary electromagnetic field the system is stable and remains confined, with the magnitude of spin and the rest mass being conserved or quasi-conserved. Also the model has a g-factor common to all spin states. The g=2 case is privileged, where the theory becomes specially simple and solutions are explicitly given when the field is constant. For this case quantization is carried out consistently by a covariant method.
