It is shown that the preon model with preonic charge can explain qualitatively and, taking α_s(M_z)=0.11, also quantitatively the unique features of Z decay data, if the new vector boson D_1 is sufficiently heavy. We study this process in the LEP200 energy region, including another source of photon+missing energy events, e^+e^-→l_sl^^-_sγ.
