Violation of the Feynman Scaling Law in the Forward Region : Particles and Fields

The Feynman scaling law regarding the inclusive energy spectrum in multiparticle production, seeming to be valid in the low energy region √<s><63 GeV, is examined in the high energy region by analyzing the data of the UA5 and UA7 collaborations at the CERN SPS p^^-p collider (√<s>=546,630 and 900 GeV) and of the Chacaltaya emulsion chamber collaboration (cosmic-ray experiment) (<√<s>>=500 GeV). All of the data from these experiments are consistent and show the violation of the law in the forward region as well as in the central region, giving 0.47±0.06 to the inelasticity at <√<s>=630 GeV at most.Various estimations of the subject, based either on the analysis of the experimental data or on the calculation following the theoretical ideas, are examined in terms of the estimated inelasticity.
