The broken symmetry lattice gases, namely, the two-dimensional square lattice gas and the three-dimensional simple cubic lattice gas with the hard-core nearest-neighbor interaction and the higher neighbor interaction are solved in terms of the quasi-chemical (one-dimensional) approximation. We found that the densities of the heat capacity at constant volume at the two-phase boundary are not equal to each other because of the broken symmetry.
