Neutron Strength Distribution of the High-Spin 1h_<9/2> and 1i_<13/2> Hole Orbitals of the ^<207>Pb : Nuclear Physics

The collective vibrational states of the ^<208>Pb have been mixed with the neutron hole states of the ^<208>Pb within the framework of the hole-core coupling model scheme to obtain the spectroscopic factors of the 1h_<9/2> and 1i_<13/2> neutron hole states of the ^<207>Pb. The theoretical results obtained in the present research work have been compared with the recent experimental results based on the ^<208>Pb (d^^→,t)^<207>Pb reaction. This core-polarisation effect has been found to have a strong influence on the above two discrete high-spin neutron hole orbitals of the ^<207>Pb.
