Incompatibility of G_A and Spin of Nucleon With Configuration Mixing : Progress Letters

Using standard, configuration mixed three quark wavefunction in the framework of non-relativistic quark model, we obtain a lower limit of nucleon spin (g_l^p) which exceeds the experimental observations. In this derivation we use the experimentally established value of G_A of proton. The consequences of this incompatibility are also discussed.
