Reaction e^+e^-→W^+W^- and the Model with an Extra Z-Boson : Particles and Fields

We calculate the total and differential cross sections for the process e^+e^- →W^+W^- taking into account the extra Z-boson (Z_E) predicted by the E_8⨂E_8' superstring theory. It is pointed out that around the pole of Z_E the cross sections are very sensitive to the value of the new mixing angle θ_e between Z_0 (ordinary Z-boson) and Z_E and that the observation of the cross sections is critical to determine the relative sign between θ_E and the Weinberg angle θ_w.
